Job Description

Position: TIG Welder
Pay Rate: $19.00–$23.00/hourly
Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling metal components according to engineering specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to produce high-quality welds while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Weld metal components and parts using TIG welding equipment, gas welders, gas torches, and other hand tools.
• Utilize electrical current to generate heat and permanently bond metal materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work instructions, and templates to complete fabrication projects.
• Inspect completed welds and perform quality checks to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Move and position fixtures, materials, and equipment as needed to complete assigned work.
• Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Follow all company Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional fabrication and production tasks as assigned.
• Perform work under direct supervision while developing welding and fabrication skills.
• Troubleshoot basic welding issues and escalate more complex problems to supervisors when necessary.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of welding equipment, fabrication techniques, and metalworking tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and welding equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
