Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location: Stockton, California
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Roles & Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to labor and delivery patients including high-risk OB with multiple co-morbidities
- Monitor fetal heart tracings and manage advanced EFM
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including OB techs, NICU nurses, and anesthesiologists
- Support baby-friendly initiatives including first hour skin-to-skin
- Float to postpartum and NICU as needed
- Document thoroughly in Cerner and maintain perinatal initiatives
- Proficient in Cerner EMR
- Experience with fetal link and hugs security system
- Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Requirements- Active RN license in California or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced EFM certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years L&D experience, no first-time travelers
- Strong IV skills and Cerner experience required
- Ability to float to postpartum and NICU
