Role:
Regional Traveling Registered Nurse

This full‑time position is based in Stockton, Sacramento, San Jose, or Oakland, CA and will travel to all our Northern California clinics (San Francisco, Mountain View, Fresno).

Job Summary

In a pediatric outpatient setting, you will treat infants ranging from 3 to 18 months of age using the DOC Band® to correct cranial asymmetry. You will diagnose plagiocephaly and build strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process.

We welcome registered nurses as well as professionals from physical therapy, occupational therapy, and orthotics backgrounds who are comfortable with hands‑on patient care and compassionate family support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and diagnose cranial asymmetry in infants.
• Fit and adjust the DOC Band® to patients, ensuring proper application and comfort.
• Educate parents and caregivers on treatment protocols and home care instructions.
• Document treatment plans and progress notes with minimal paperwork.
• Coordinate follow‑up appointments and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with pediatricians and other clinicians to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
• Prior pediatric clinical experience required.
• At least 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off‑the‑shelf orthotic devices (splints, braces, maternity belts). If you are unsure whether you meet this requirement, please apply and we can discuss it with you.
