RequirementsRoles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients with psychiatric conditions including schizophrenia, major depression, and bipolar disorder
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
- Current RN license in California
- At least 1 year of acute care experience
- BLS certification required
- CPI or AVADE certification required
- Experience with psychiatric patient populations preferred
- Strong psychiatric nursing skills
- Ability to handle high-acuity patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
