This travel nursing assignment offers an engaging opportunity to work with adult patients experiencing mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, major depression, and bipolar disorder. The role is based in Stockton, CA, where nurses will be responsible for providing specialized psychiatric care within a semi-private setting that accommodates up to 35 patients. The shift runs in 8-hour evenings, and the nurse will handle patient ratios up to 1:9, ensuring each patient receives attentive care.

Unique to this assignment is the focus on mental health management, including monitoring psychiatric symptoms and supporting patient stabilization. Nurses will work every other weekend, with navy scrubs as the preferred attire.
