Position: Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse (RN) - Contract/Travel - *Up to $4,150/WK!*

Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week contract in Stockton, California. Provides critical perioperative nursing support in cardiac surgery. Earn up to $4,150 per week with competitive benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive cardiovascular surgical nursing care in the OR, ensuring adherence to protocols and patient safety standards.

Assist in setting up and maintaining the Cardiovascular Operating Room, including preparing equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.

Interpret and respond to EKG strips, monitor patient status throughout surgeries, and communicate findings effectively to the surgical team.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes during cardiac surgeries.

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and intraoperative events within the Cerner charting system.

Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
BLS (AHA) certification
CPR certification
EKG interpretation skills
Minimum 2 years CVOR nursing experience
Proficiency in Cerner charting system
Strong critical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts
Ability to work in fast‑paced environment

Preferred Skills

CVOR certification preferred
Previous travel experience preferred
