We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Nurse Practitioner to join a growing primary care practice where clinicians actually enjoy practicing medicine. You will provide comprehensive care across the full age spectrum, from pediatric to geriatric patients, in a collaborative environment backed by an on-site medical director. This is a chance to help shape a new practice from the ground up, with the autonomy to practice at the top of your license and the support to never feel like you are on an island.
Whyyou'll love this opportunity.
A four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday, that protects real time for your life outside the clinic. A collaborative, supportive culture that rejects rigid, factory-style medicine and the burnout that comes with it. Genuine variety in your day, caring for patients from age 2 to 99 across acute, chronic, and preventive needs. A medical director who serves as your collaborating provider and is there for questions and complex cases.
Room to grow with the practice and help build the processes and standards from an early stage. Autonomy-friendly for California AB 890 providers who want to practice independently.
- Assess, diagnose, and build evidence-based treatment plans for acute illnesses and ongoing chronic disease management.
- Perform routine and annual exams and preventive screenings across all ages.
- Order, interpret, and track diagnostic labs, X-rays, and imaging.
- Counsel patients on treatment plans, preventive care, and medication adherence.
- Collaborate with the medical director on complex cases and clinical questions.
- Active California RN license and active California Nurse Practitioner certification issued by the Board of Registered Nursing.
- National certification through AANP or ANCC in family and adult-gerontology primary care.
- Active DEA registration with California furnishing number.
- Current standardized procedure agreement eligibility with the medical group.
- Primary care experience with the confidence to work independently day to day.
- Candidates meeting California AB 890 (103-NP or 104-NP) independent practice requirements.
- Current Medicare and Medicaid credentialing, or eligibility to credential quickly (existing payer credentialing or hospital affiliation speeds onboarding).
- Comfort in an entrepreneurial, early-stage practice as a self-starter.
Compensation: $65 - $95.
Work Location:
In person.
