The Port of Stockton, a leader in the Maritime industry and a major economic driver for the San Joaquin Valley, is seeking a skillful Real Estate Associate l-ll to assist with the administration, marketing, and leasing of the Port's industrial, commercial, and warehousing office properties.

Ideal candidate will have a passion for executing key strategic real estate planning and development initiatives and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a customer service oriented, self-starter with a strong knowledge of the principles and practices of commercial/industrial real estate, including property management, asset management, leasing, and property appraisal and valuation methodology. Examples of Duties

• Provide administrative, technical, and project support across core departmental functions ranging from Leasing to Electric Utility operations.
• Provide a high level of customer service to Port tenants and other stakeholders.
• Draft, review, and maintain lease agreements, amendments, contracts, and notices.
• Participate in developing and implementing marketing strategies for Port properties.
• Contribute to promotional and marketing materials, website updates, and outreach communications.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Real Estate Assoicate I:

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in real estate, business, economics, finance, or a related field; or
• Associate's degree plus two (2) years of para-professional experience in commercial real estate functions (leasing, appraisal, development, etc.); or
• Completion of real estate coursework or valid California Real Estate Salesperson/Broker License.

Real Estate Assoicate II:

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in real estate, business, economics, finance, or a related field; or
• Associate's from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field plus one (1) year of full-time experience in commercial real estate; or
• Associate's degree plus three to four (3-4) years of increasingly responsible experience in commercial real estate roles.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license and be insurable under the Port's liability policy or provide other insurance acceptable to the Port.
• Possession of a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card, to be maintained throughout employment.
• Real Estate license preferred but not required.
