Pay Rate: $16.90 per hour

• High School graduate or equivalent (required)
• Must be able to operate POS/Cash Register
• Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow employees, customers and donors

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, filing cabinets, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts
• Ability to operate a telephone
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks

• Greet customers and donors and provide prompt, courteous assistance
• Stock priced items for the sales floor in accordance with Salvation Army Standards
• Sort donations in accordance with Salvation Army Standards
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization; perform assigned cleaning duties
• Follow POS/Cash Register policies in accordance with TSA guidelines
• Maintain safety standards and report hazards to management
• Follow HR policies and attend required monthly store meetings
• Adhere to dress code policy
• Work schedules are determined by management; part-time associates may work evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory accurately
• Provide quality assurance by inspecting products for defects
• Maintain and clean donation trailer/pod area at shift start/end
• Assist donors with removal of donated items and provide receipts
• Sort and store donated materials as instructed by the Store Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Shift Supervisor, District Sales Manager, and Command Administration

Stores operate 7 days per week. Flexibility required to ensure adequate store coverage. Part-time shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
