Security Officer - Distribution Center Access Control

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.;
Control access to the facility by verifying identification, checking in and/or checking out employees, contractors, and delivery personnel, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs.;
Screen inbound and outbound traffic at gates and dock areas, confirm scheduled deliveries and pickups, and coordinate with site contacts to help reduce unauthorized entry and/or property removal.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying the appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting irregular activity and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
