Security Officer - Distribution Center

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct screening at designated access points, including checking identification, validating visitor and driver credentials, and supporting package and/or vehicle screening as directed by post orders;
Control access to the facility by managing sign-in and sign-out processes for employees, visitors, and contractors, and directing traffic flow to assigned entrances, docks, and staging areas;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required;
Complete required reports and logs, monitor cameras and/or alarms when assigned, and communicate unusual activity, policy concerns, and operational issues to appropriate personnel
