Transmission Technician (Fleet)

Job Responsibilities

* Diagnose, repair, and maintain automatic and manual transmission systems for fleet and commercial vehicles

* Perform transmission rebuilds, replacements, and component-level repairs

* Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on drivetrain and transmission systems

* Troubleshoot drivability issues related to transmissions, torque converters, and related systems

* Perform diagnostic testing using scan tools and specialized equipment

* Complete all repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership procedures

* Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, and recommended services

* Communicate clearly with service advisors and fleet managers regarding repair status and timelines

* Ensure timely turnaround of vehicles while maintaining high-quality workmanship

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

* Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures

Mon-Fri, 7am - 4pm

Transmission Technician (Fleet) Compensation and Benefits

* Pay Range: $34.00-$50.00 per hour (flat-rate, based on experience, certifications, and productivity)

* Additional production-based bonus compensation based on completed and paid repair orders

* High-performing technicians have the opportunity to earn significantly above base pay through productivity incentives
