The primary dutiesofthe

Maintenance Technicianareto perform highly diversified dutiestoinstall,troubleshoot,repair,and maintain production and facility equipment according tosafety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes tosupport the success of the site's business goals and objectives.

• Inspect,operate,ortestmachineryorequipmenttodiagnosemachine malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, orbelts,checking fluid levels,replacing filters, ordoing other preventive maintenance actions.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how tocorrectthem,checking blueprints, repair manuals,orparts catalogs, as necessary.
• Repair machines, equipment,or structures, usingtoolssuch ashammers, hoists,saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
• Maintainorrepairspecializedequipmentormachinerylocatedinofficesor factories.
• Cleanorlubricateshafts,bearings,gears,orotherpartsof machinery.
• Adjustfunctionalpartsofdevicesorcontrolinstruments,usinghandtools,levels,plumb bobs,or straightedges.
• Order parts,supplies,orequipmentfromcatalogsor suppliers.
• Planand layoutrepairwork,using diagrams,drawings,blueprints,maintenance manuals,or schematic diagrams.
• Performgeneralcleaningdutiesofbuildings or properties.
• Paint orrepairroofs, windows,doors,floors,woodwork,plaster,drywall,orotherpartsofbuilding structures.
• Operatecuttingtorchesorweldingequipmenttocutorjoinmetal parts.
• Recordtypeand costofmaintenanceorrepair work.
• Testandtreat the water supply.
• Performroutinemaintenance,such as replacing burnersorhoses,installing replacement parts,orreinforcingstructural weaknesses to ensure efficiency.
• Setupandoperatemachinetoolstorepairorfabricatemachineparts,jigs,fixtures,or tools.
• Alignandbalancenewequipmentafter installation.
• Provide grounds keeping services,suchaslandscapingorsnow removal.
• Inspect used partstodeterminechanges in dimensional requirements,using rules,calipers, micrometers, orothermeasuring instruments.
• Fabricateorrepaircounters,benches,partitions,orother wooden structures, suchasshedsor outbuildings.
• Position,attach,orblowinsulatingmaterialstopreventenergylossesfrombuildings,pipes,orotherstructuresor objects.
• Estimatecoststorepairmachinery,equipment,or building structures.
• Otherdutiesortasksassignedas needed.
