Class A Driver

Overview

PACE Supply's Distribution Center in Stockton, CA is searching for reliable Class A Drivers to join our team and deliver exceptional service to customers. PACE Supply is a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing, hydronics, fire protection, water treatment, pumps, water well, septic, sewer, and water works products.

• Operate large commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers and flatbeds.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections following DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and compliance with hours-of-service.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to prepare, load, and secure orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery schedules.
• Keep delivery logs, bills of lading, and documentation accurate and compliant.

• High school diploma or equivalent; education and experience that provide necessary skills will be considered.
• Valid California Class A driver's license with "T" endorsement (doubles, triples, tankers), manual transmission experience, age 21+.
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience operating Class A vehicles/warehouse distribution; previous delivery experience in wholesale products preferred.
• Clean driving record; must pass background check and drug test.
• Medical certification clearance card, FMSC Clearinghouse registration, comprehensive health benefits.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform long hours of driving and heavy lifting.
• Excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, organizational skills.
• Basic English proficiency for reading, writing, and oral communication.
• Work five days per week with flexibility for overtime; shift start between 2AM-6AM.

• Stand, walk, reach, lift up to 50 lbs., use hand-truck, prolonged standing/sitting.
• Vision: distance, peripheral, depth perception.

• Exposed to moving mechanical parts, weather conditions, high places, vibration, moderate noise levels.
