Job Summary

Stockton based company of 70+ years, looking for an experienced tanker-truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

$160k+

Own your own truck (2017 and newer) - we will make you a fair market value offer.

• Transport liquid propane and ammonia to manufacturing plants or industrial plants.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain electronic logs.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.

• Proven work experience as a tanker-truck driver (Min 3 years).
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly (able to travel out of state periodically).
• Experience with driving in snow & tire chains (preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• No recent moving or driving violations.
• Adaptability and foresight to manage unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).
• Commercial Class A License with Hazmat Certificate and all endorsements required.
