Job Summary

Assist customers by hand‑building pallets of products and loading trailers according to company and customer standards.

• Pay rate: Up to $26.60 per hour.

• Drive and utilize all company warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) to select, pull, sort, and stack product weighing an average of 45 lbs, within the warehouse and dock safely according to company standards.
• Work in a freezer and dry warehouse environment (freezer coats, hats, and gloves provided).
• Handle products and build pallets according to established food safety procedures (e.g., visual inspection for damages, proper placement to minimize cross‑contamination and damage).
• Maintain the warehouse cleanly and safely, taking appropriate corrective actions when a spill or damaged case is discovered, disposing of trash and recycling in proper receptacles.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent.
• Experience: 6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent physical work experience in place of a degree.
• Professional skills: Knowledge of safe lifting procedures and food safety guidelines; skill in building pallets quickly, accurately and safely.
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack and maneuver in tight areas.
• Meet minimum productivity levels established by the company.
• Read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
• Perform basic math functions (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Solve problems.
• Apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Wear personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes).

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50–90 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• Expose to hot, extreme cold, or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; frequently exposed to high, precarious places; occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; noise level usually loud.
