Position Overview

Warehouse Associate-2 responsible for trailer loading/unloading, pallet handling, forklift or LGV operation, and maintaining inventory accuracy while ensuring a safe, clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklift or LGV to load/unload trailers and monitor LGV activity.
  • Check outbound trailers prior to loading; follow SOPs for inventory accuracy and customer requirements.
  • Receive and process inbound orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for raw materials, pallets, ingredients, and internal transfers.
  • Follow SOPs and guidelines for receiving, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) efficiently and accurately.
  • Validate new SKUs in WMS to ensure proper storage and handling by LGVs.
  • Clear blocked locations in WMS to maintain smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with Central Shipping Office (CSO) to ensure forward flow of shipments per schedule.
  • Compile records by SKU, quantity, sub‑inventories; validate Oracle EBS and WMS inventories against physical counts; investigate and adjust errors; report reasons for discrepancies.
  • Rebuild damaged pallets prior to restock and consolidate finished‑goods storage for maximum capacity.
  • Identify, report, and correct quality issues with finished goods and residue monitoring system (RMS); address product spills.
  • Manually pull pallets from production as needed and supply production with non‑inventory items (glue, bags, labels, etc.).
  • Operate forklift when required; unload finished goods and raw‑material deliveries.
  • Facilitate information flow between logistics, production, and sales to ensure timely, accurate service to customers.
  • Test and monitor resin and spring water; inspect trailers for pre‑load activities; provide correct loading documents, bills of lading, and truck seals upon departure.
  • Maintain records and reports for daily shipping and inventory control.
  • Participate in process improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse; attend regularly and punctually.
  • Answer and make phone calls using proper etiquette; communicate with internal and external contacts to troubleshoot loading issues.
  • Coordinate with transportation and production/scheduling to ensure all shipments flow on schedule.
  • Perform any task not deemed unreasonable or unsafe as requested by manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Minimum: 2 years experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum: 2 years experience in a warehouse position such as this.
  • Minimum: 2 years experience managing people or projects.
  • Preferred: 4 years experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.
