Forklift Operator – Day Shift, Stockton Distribution Center (Pipe Yard)

PACE Supply’s Distribution Center in Stockton, CA is currently hiring Forklift Operators for our Pipe Yard. This role involves operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move large pipe and related materials, picking, receiving, and putting away product in designated areas, using RF scanners to accurately track inventory movement, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company productivity standards.

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Must be available for daily overtime

• Operate forklifts (pipe yard or heavy material handling experience a plus)
• Work daily overtime as needed
• Pull orders from inventory manually and/or utilizing forklift
• Use RF scanner for daily tasks
• Refill shelves and racks as needed
• Receive orders through supervisor from prepared and prioritized work tags
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating cooperatively with customers, coworkers, and managers
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility, emphasis on work‑group area
• Operate equipment such as order picker, stand‑up or reach lift, Combi lift
• Use basic math skills up to four digits
• Basic computer skills, including keyboarding

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Excellent time management skills, proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong verbal, written, and reading communication skills
• Dedication to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Collaborative mindset, fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers and manufacturers
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong problem‑solving abilities
• Adherence to workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures

• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
