Prinsco is looking for a hands on Yard Manager who takes pride in creating a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. This role leads daily yard operations, supports and develops employees, and ensures materials and equipment are ready to serve our customers and production teams.

• Lead and support yard employees with a focus on safety, teamwork, and accountability
• Plan and coordinate daily yard activities to keep materials moving efficiently
• Maintain a clean, well organized yard and equipment area
• Partner with operations and logistics to meet shipping and receiving needs
• Train employees and reinforce safe work practices

• Experience leading teams in a yard, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to work outside in changing conditions
• Experience with equipment and inventory management is a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in yard management or a similar role within the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Proven track record of managing teams and coordinating yard operations efficiently.
• Experience with inventory management and control processes.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various yard activities simultaneously.
• Proficient in using yard management software and other relevant technology tools.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports to improve yard operations and efficiency.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
