Job Title: Team Leader – Children’s Residential Care
Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST7)
Salary: £37,592.53 per annum
Working Hour: 2 on / 4 off shift pattern (including sleeps + bank shift)

Qualifications
Required:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Experience in Years
Required:
Minimum 1 year in Residential Childcare

The Home:- Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST7)

- Ofsted Rating: 50% of homes rated Outstanding
- Ratio of staff to children: High support staffing model
We are seeking a confident, resilient and motivated Team Leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people.
You will:
- Lead shifts and support staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care
- Act as a role model and provide supervision, guidance and mentoring
- Support care planning, reviews and risk management
- Promote safeguarding and ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Support the Registered Manager with daily operations and standards
- Build strong relationships with professionals, families and agencies
- Support staff development, training and inductions
- Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation
- Work flexibly, including weekends and sleep-ins
- An established, values-driven social care provider
- Operating for over 15 years
- Medium-sized organisation with multiple children’s homes
- Strong focus on quality, staff wellbeing and outcomes for young people
- Future plans: Continued growth and service development
