Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop, learn and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.
The RoleAs a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
- Supporting children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children’s interests and development
- Observing and recording children’s progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
- Ensuring children’s health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
- Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
- Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
- Following the nursery’s policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
- Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported
We are looking for someone who is:
- Caring, patient and approachable
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their development
- A positive team player with good communication skills
- Reliable, responsible and committed to providing high-quality care
- Able to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Confident in creating fun and engaging learning experiences
A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is desirable/required depending on the role.
Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting would be beneficial.
