Aim Recruitment is recruiting for a Residential Childrens worker for our client based in Moorcroft, Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a great opportunity to get started in an exciting new role as a residential childrens worker supporting young people with their day-to-day lives, with the opportunity to learn and develop new skills.
Job Role- Supporting young people to live their day-to-day lives.
- Provide a caring, supportive and nurturing environment in which children/young people can feel secure and free from harm.
- Working with the homes young people to ensure their care plans are followed.
- Caring for Young people with a wide variety of needs who may have experienced high levels of trauma.
- This role is very diverse, working in conjunction with a wide range of professionals including the independent therapeutic team at the home.
- Working alongside a committed team and registered manager to bring the best possible outcomes for the homes young people.
- Ensuring the companys policies, procedures, and statutory requirements are followed.
- Availability to work shifts within the homes rota.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Previous experience desired but not essential.
- Good communication and listening skills
- The ability to work well under pressure
- To be able to adapt well to challenging and changing situations.
