Maintenance Electrician

Location:

Stoke on Trent area (National travel)
Salary: £40,000 per annum (Door-to-door)

Hours:

Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00 (Flexible start and finish times)

National travel with staying away sometimes is required.

The Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our national team of 5 engineers, delivering planned and preventative maintenance across a variety of sites including schools, service stations, and campsite environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Electrician

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM):

* Emergency lighting testing and maintenance

* Fire alarm checks and basic maintenance

* HVAC filter cleaning and general building services support

* Carry out routine compliance checks ensuring systems meet industry standards

Electrical Maintenance & Installations:

* LED lighting upgrades and replacements

* Maintenance and installation of sockets, switches, and general electrical components

* Fault finding and repair works

* Carry out both single phase and three phase electrical works

* Minor installation works where required

Compliance & Reporting:

* Complete accurate service reports and maintenance documentation

* Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and safety standards

* Follow company and client service level agreements

What We’re Looking For
- Maintenance Electrician

Qualifications:

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Skills & Experience:

* Strong electrical maintenance and PPM experience

* Experience working with commercial or public sector environments desirable

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

* Good communication and customer-facing skills

* Flexible and willing to travel nationally
