Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: £48,000 Basic with £70,000 plus earnings including Bonus + Overtime + Pension
Shift Pattern: 4 week rotation (Days, Noons, Nights and weekends )

About the Role:

Are you a skilled Maintenance Electrician looking for a role that offers variety, growth, and opportunities to work in a dynamic heavy industry environment? This is a hands-on position working across various electrical systems including overhead cranes, motors, 230V, and 400V circuits. You will play a crucial role in keeping our operation running smoothly by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical issues quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical installation and modification work.

• Fault finding and repairs on electrical panels.

• Troubleshooting and working on 400V AC and 24V DC control systems.

• Diagnosing and repairing 400V motors.

• Working with overhead cranes and handling motor replacements.

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings.

• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety standards.

Key Skills &

Qualifications:

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or higher.

• Ideally have completed a full electrical apprenticeship.

• Proficient in reading electrical drawings.

• Strong ability to fault find on 400V AC systems and 24V DC controls.

• Experience with 400V motors.

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills (Training Provided If Needed):

• Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) fault finding and programming.

• PLC fault finding and diagnostics.

• HV switching certification.
