MOT Technician

We are seeking an experienced MOT Technician for a reputable, family-run service centre located in Cheadle, Staffordshire. • Competitive salary of £35,000, negotiable based on experience
• Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Optional Saturday work from 8:30am to 12:30pm

• Perform vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards
• Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations
• Carry out repairs confidently and efficiently
• Assist with general workshop tasks to maintain smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication as an MOT Technician
• Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Proven experience as an MOT Technician, preferably in a main dealership or independent garage
• Ability to carry out diagnostics and mechanical repairs confidently
• MOT certification with a valid licence
• Own tools and the ability to work independently in a busy environment
• Positive attitude, professional approach, and good communication skills
