What you will be doing Installing, assembling and aligning mechanical equipment to exacting standards Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications Maintaining, repairing and overhauling mechanical systems Carrying out inspections, testing and fault finding Working safely within a high-quality engineering environment Collaborating with experienced engineering teams on major projects What we are looking for You will ideally have experience working within one or more of the following sectors:
Marine Heavy Engineering Industrial Manufacturing Nuclear Oil & Gas Defence You will also have: A completed apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, rotating or static mechanical equipment The ability to interpret engineering drawings A strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement Experience commissioning, maintaining or troubleshooting mechanical systems is advantageous What's on offer?
