Light Vehicle Technician
Up to £45k + Benefits | Burton upon Trent | Full-Time | Permanent

We're looking for an experienced Light Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop team in Burton upon Trent.
Working on a range of vans and commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes
, you'll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to the highest standards, helping to keep customers safely on the road.
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing repairs to engines, transmissions, braking, steering and suspension systems
- Using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment to identify faults
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT
- Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer and health & safety standards
- Supporting colleagues to ensure workshop efficiency and excellent customer service
- Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician or Vehicle Technician
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on vans and commercial vehicles
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Experience working on vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes
- Diagnostic and fault-finding experience using modern diagnostic equipment
- MOT Tester qualification (Class 4 and/or
7) - Hybrid and EV awareness or training
- Familiarity with dealer management or workshop systems
- Competitive salary of up to £45,000
