AP Supervisor

Seeking a Accounts Payable Supervisor who is Bilingual in English & Spanish!! (MUST be Fluent in English & Spanish) This role will be 5 days IN-office. Great opportunity to lead a team!! Open to a an AP Lead who wants to make the next step up!
Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and electronic payments while leading a team of AP Specialists. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, manually driven AP environment supporting multiple business locations and legal entities.

  Accounts Payable Specialists.
• Oversee accounts payable operations for multiple locations and multiple legal entities, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payment execution.
• Review and approve high-volume invoice processing, managing approximately 700+ invoices per week in a manual processing environment.
• Manage ACH and online banking payment activities, including oversight of High-volume ofACH transactions per month across the AP team.
• Ensure all vendor payments are processed accurately and in accordance with company policies and payment schedules.
• Monitor AP workflows, identify process improvements, and maintain strong internal controls.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support efficient payment operations.
• Maintain accurate AP records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and reporting as needed.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
• Experience supervising or leading Accounts Payable staff.
• Proven experience in a manual invoice processing environment.
• Strong experience processing ACH payments and online banking transactions.
• Experience managing accounts payable in a high-volume environment, processing 700+ invoices weekly.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to critically review invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and/or multiple legal entities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

• Experience in retail, multi-location, or multi-entity organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to improve AP processes and efficiencies while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
