Join our Mud Pie in‑house national accounts team! Key responsibilities include overseeing order fulfillment, managing sample requests and fulfillment, supporting sales staff with travel and presentation needs, tracking department goals, and providing item setup and customer support.
This position requires strong organizational, analytical and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel). It demands effective multitasking and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment that is highly interactive with all areas of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Planning and management of in‑house national accounts
- Work closely with operations team to ensure all assigned accounts’ orders process on time and meet any additional added services as outlined in each customer's vendor guide
- Follow Key Account orders, audit cartons, and check for correct labeling to reduce warehouse errors and chargebacks from major accounts
- Coordinate with warehouse and VAS (Value Added Services) teams for order processing
- Sample management
- Customer sample placement, packing, shipment, tracking, etc.
- Travel samples: pull/pack/track/return
- Travel support
- Sample shipment/tracking
- Line sheets/binding
- Presentations, etc.
- Department goal tracking
- Monthly management of goal tracker
- Item setup and customer support
- Market recaps/images
- Web account support (images, copy, dimensions, etc.)
- Rep samples/road kits/showroom sample orders
- Line sheet updates
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1–2 years’ work experience as an administrative assistant or in a sales support position
- Expert‑level competency in Microsoft Word, Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables) and Power Point
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing (internally and externally)
- Extremely strong organizational, analytical and presentation skills
- Time‑management/multi‑tasking skills – must be able to work at an extremely fast pace and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Ability to proactively solve problems within area of responsibility and find solutions independently of superiors
