Stone Mountain, GA Project Management Full-Time, Salary Exempt $54, /YR
The Project Manager oversees multiple construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills to coordinate teams, subcontractors, and vendors while maintaining positive client relationships.
Reporting StructureReports To: Senior Project Manager
Department: Project Management
Supervises: Project Engineers, Project Interns, or Project Administrators (1-2 per project)
Work Location: Jobsite Trailer / Office as Required
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain project schedules, establishing milestones and deadlines
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor assignments with Superintendents
- Review, approve, and monitor contracts, purchase orders, and change orders
- Track project budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete, maintaining accurate financial records
- Ensure projects comply with safety, quality, and design specifications
- Supervise and mentor junior project staff, including Project Engineers and Interns
- Generate daily logs, progress reports, and client updates
- Resolve conflicts, issues, or delays with clients, subcontractors, or vendors
- Conduct pre-job planning, including site logistics, vendor selection, and material procurement
- Perform project closeout activities, including as-builts, final billing, and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of construction management experience;
Project Engineer experience may be considered - Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore preferred
- Ability to work 8-12 hours per day on-site; weekend or after-hours work may be required
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Use of PPE as required (hard hat, safety glasses, boots)
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
