Product Development Designer

Product Development Designer will have the opportunity to produce pattern designs using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare detail drawings of products from sketches using CAD equipment and associated peripheral equipment and software.
• Follow instructions and procedures.
• Perform non-complex detailing, redrawing, lettering and tracing of drawings on components, assemblies and engineering change orders.
• Ensure that drawings incorporate all design features and maintain the product style.
• Contribute design modifications to improve the product quality and function.

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 2 years related experience.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Knowledge of CAD software techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of design tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $67,000 - $88,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
