Speech and Language Pathologist in Stone Mountain, GA

Desired Qualifications and

Experience:

• Active SLP license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, will consider CFY
• Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school setting, ideally with diverse K-12 populations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
• Tech-savvy and comfortable delivering services through virtual platforms if opting for teletherapy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students K-12
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct therapy services, including both individual and group interventions
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Contribute to student progress monitoring and advocate for their unique communication needs
• Participate in professional development and remain current on best practices in school-based SLP
