Non-Certified Tutor, Title I P/T Private Schools

This is a one (1) year position funded through the use of Title I funds. This position will end on or before June 30, 2027. The applicant accepting this position must apply for an available position and be recommended for a new position in order to continue employment with the DeKalb County School District for the  school year.

Federal Programs is currently seeking a Title I Tutor who utilizes best practices to increase student achievement. The primary responsibility is to implement, deliver and promote high academic expectations to all students. The ideal candidate must work collaboratively with team members and must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR

EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED and pass the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment, required.
• OR an associate degree or higher from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission-approved accredited college or university is required.
• OR minimum of sixty (60) semester hours or ninety (90) quarter hours of college courses completed with a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 2.0 or higher from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission-approved accredited college or university.
• A valid Professional Standards Commission-approved paraprofessional certificate is required.
