Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician who combines technical skills with a passion for maintaining machinery and aircraft. This person will be responsible for drone maintenance and routine service, ensuring the aircraft conforms to design, and that vehicles are in safe operating condition. The candidate will work closely with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams.

• Drive time‑based and condition‑based maintenance activities
• Show understanding of fleet performance metrics
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals

This role requires the ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.

Work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Travel up to 25 % of the time.

Position may require a deemed export control license. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Position may be subject to Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and alcohol testing if conducting safety‑sensitive functions as defined by the FAA.

• Experience with common business applications and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office)
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical engineering experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Work in environments with variable noise, temperatures, and weather conditions, including outside and refrigerated environments
• Demonstrated record of good attendance and consistent punctuality

• Experience in installing sub‑assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
• Experience in the aviation industry
• Experience in business communication skills
• Experience in robotics and manufacturing engineering

The starting pay for this position is $21.00 to $44.00 USD hourly, depending on the shift selected. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses.
