Position Description
Completes and supervises team in the performance of complex technical support assignments involving test methods, problem resolution, product application, product development and data interpretation using comprehensive product knowledge. Works with customers and the internal engineering team in the support of existing, modified and new products.
Job Responsibilities- Strong ability to convey an understanding verbally and in writing of technical concepts and issues to non-technical personnel internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and manage less experienced engineering support personnel
- Expert knowledge of electrical backup equipment as relates to the area of responsibility (I edited this one directly)
- Demonstrated general knowledge of engineering concepts, practices and procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of batteries and related products/equipment
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements- Minimum five years of professional engineering experience required
- Five years of professional experience working closely with non-technical personnel in a technical environment
- Prior Supervisory experience preferred
