Job SummaryThe position is responsible for maintaining up to 4 production lines for foam cup manufacturing. Performs basic operator maintenance and equipment repair in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities- Record timely checks to ensure only quality product is manufactured and enters the packing bins.
- Comply with all safety rules, policies, procedures and practices including lock‑out/tag‑out of production equipment when required.
- Diagnose and determine cause for machine malfunctions and make operator repairs to assigned machines.
- Perform scrap bin checks, line checks, and all assigned quality tests to measure product quality.
- Maintain established cycle times on assigned machines to meet production goals.
- Immediately respond to any defective cups or other finished goods identified by a Packer, Print Operator or Packing Tech.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance to equipment including eliminating air, steam, and water leaks.
- Provide timely communication to Production Lead or Supervisor when assistance is required.
- Follow Win Cup OPERA Values, safety initiatives, and other plant standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years in a manufacturing environment tending a production machine preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow directives with STM leadership, managers, supervisors.
- Ensures all company policies and procedures are followed.
- Collaboration with plant and safety leadership.
- Ability to complete mandated new manufacturing training on equipment.
- Supports current and new product introductions.
- Indoor manufacturing environment not air‑conditioned.
- Wear PPE including hairnet, hearing protection and safety glasses.
- Work a 12‑hour shift starting 6:50 a.m. dayshift or 6:50 p.m. night shift.
- Work weekdays, weekends and overtime as needed.
- Receive a "pass" on a pre‑employment physical.
- Work a 12‑hour shift standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, grasping and lifting.
- Manual movement of cases of finished goods up to 40 pounds.
