Piping Technician III

What Drives Success

Under general direction, fabricates, cuts, and brazes pipes based on general specifications to carry refrigerants.

• Fabricates pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures.
• Ensures proper placement and alignment according to general blueprints and instructions.
• Brazes fabricated pipes to make the specified product work as designed.
• Performs a variety of assembly, fabrication, production, and operator tasks.

• Expert brazing knowledge.
• Able to look at a general diagram and determine fabrication needs to make product work as engineered.
• Expert knowledge of data charts, specification diagrams, and work orders.
• Requires precision control and dexterity.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Must have completed any skills related training and/or passed any skills tests required for this level.
• A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: This is an hourly non‑exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $27.65– $29.85/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
