We are seeking a dependable Process Techs
to support our food manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for preparing and mixing products according to approved formulas, operating processing equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring products meet safety, food safety, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review batch sheets, formulas, and production schedules.
• Accurately weigh, measure, verify, and add ingredients.
• Operate mixers, kettles, pumps, and other processing equipment.
• Monitor mixing times, temperatures, weights, and other process requirements.
• Perform equipment setup, startup, shutdown, and product changeovers.
• Troubleshoot processing and equipment issues and make approved adjustments.
• Complete batch sheets and production documentation accurately.
• Follow all GMP, food safety, allergen, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Maintain proper ingredient and product identification.
• Communicate equipment, quality, and production concerns to Supervisors, Quality, or Maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Minimize product waste and support production efficiency.

• Previous food manufacturing, mixing, batching, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow formulas, batch sheets, and written instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be dependable and able to work 12 hour shifts and overtime as needed.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to walk and stand; use hands repetitively with a high level of dexterity; reach with hands and arms; and regularly lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull 500 pounds, may at times be required to push/pull up to 2000 pounds with assistance of equipment. Bending, Twisting, Squatting, kneeling also required. Must have the ability to grasp with one or both hands and extend arms up to 3 feet at, below, or above shoulder height repeatedly throughout the shift.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must also have the ability to distinguish color codes on packaging materials. Operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required. Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits and other allergens are present.
