Title: LPN / LVN School Nurse – 1:1 Position
Location: Stone Mountain, GA
Compensation: $31.50 – $34 per hour
Contract Length: 13 weeks (scheduled to follow the school district calendar)
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hour day shifts
Employment Type: Local Contract
Job Description:
Provide medical care to assigned students during the school day based on individual medical care plans, IEP/504 plans, and orders from medical professionals. Document all care provided daily, coordinate with the special education team and student caregivers, and manage medication administration and health emergencies as needed.
1:1 School Nurse Contract Details:
- $31.50 – $34 per hour
- Contract follows school district calendar
- Provide medical care to a student throughout the school day, following their care plan
- Follow medical orders, IEP/504 plans, and provide information to the special education team and caregivers
- Complete daily documentation
- Contract for current school year
- Match of nurse to student based on medical acuity experience

Requirements:
- Georgia LPN / LVN license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting
