Travel professionals in this role will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic 28-bed PCU/IMCU serving primarily cardiac patients. This hands-on experience will deepen your competencies in cardiovascular care while connecting you with experts in a forward-thinking work environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time travel assignment
• Schedule details provided during placement process

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with documented experience in Progressive Care/Stepdown units
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in similar-sized acute care settings
• Prior work managing cardiac patient populations (STEMI, NSTEMI, CABG, C/P, post-cardiac surgery)
• Competency with cardiac drips:
  Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors
• Comfortable with nurse-patient ratios of 1:3-4
• Experience floating to telemetry beds and caring for varying acuity levels
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Completion of all demographic information and submission of a professional badge-appropriate photo

Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care to PCU and IMCU cardiac patients
• Safely administer and titrate cardiac drips under protocol
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting clinical changes promptly
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Float as needed to telemetry beds on the same unit
