The Food Service Team Member assists in the daily operations of a restaurant/food stand operation by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional duties may be assigned. Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position at any time.

  • Performs food preparation in compliance with established standards and guidelines while adhering to food quality and product levels in compliance with food service and health department standards
  • Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, safety, and food standards in compliance with health department, legal, and company standards/guidelines, and ensure adherence by all Stand employees
  • Greet guests, take orders, and perform duties of cashier to ensure accuracy and quality of service
  • Become knowledgeable about the menu and prices at assigned location; be ready and able to make menu suggestions to guests
  • Answer guests’ questions concerning attractions, gift shops, and other food locations within the Park
  • Perform regular and scheduled cleaning projects
  • Perform all daily opening and closing procedures
  • Inform Food Lead of any maintenance or safety issues
  • All other duties as assigned
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must understand, read, write and speak the English language
  • Must have the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to handle money responsibly and make correct change
  • Must be able to use chemicals to clean work area
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Previous food service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Some High School Education/GED preferred
