Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jeweller with expertise in goldsmithingand stone setting to establish and lead our in-house jewellery repairservice at our London Service Centre . This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to build and manage a new jewelleryservicing operation while working closely with our network of boutiques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage the in-housejewellery repair service .
- Liaise with our boutiques to assess and service jewellery pieces, including sizing and stonesetting .
- Perform high-quality repair sand restorations on fine jewellery crafted from gold and platinum .
- Conduct quality checks on repair and engraving work completed by third-party jewellers beforereturning items to boutiques.
- Restore jewellery, including ring resizing, chain lengthening, cleaning, polishing, refinishing, penplating and rhodium plating .
- Restring pearls to maintain quality aesthetic standards.
- Provide professionalassessments on jewellery conditions and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Communicate with boutiquesregarding repair timelines, pricing and service updates .
- Ensure all work meets the highest craftsmanship and quality standards .
- Proven experience as a Jeweller/ Goldsmith with strong technical and repair skills .
- Expertise in stonesetting techniques (prong, bezel, channel, pavé, tube).
- Ability to assess, repairand restore fine jewellery.
- Strong knowledge of preciousmetals, gemstones and contemporary jewellery trends .
- Excellent hand-eyecoordination , precision and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with boutiques and third-partyjewellers.
- Ability to work independently ,manage workflow and ensure timely completion of jewellery servicing.
- Experience working with customers and providing expert advice is an advantage.
