A kindergarten teacher is responsible for creating a developmentally appropriate and engaging learning environment for young students, focusing on foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and social-emotional development. They implement planned lessons, activities, and assessments, while also fostering a positive classroom atmosphere and communicating regularly with parents.

Qualifications:

Qualified applicants must upload a cover letter, resume, transcripts, proof of MA DESE in the appropriate subject, as well as three current letters of recommendation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and Implementation:
  Design, plan, and implement lessons that align with curriculum standards, including differentiated instruction and assessments to meet individual student needs.
• Instruction and Engagement:
  Teach students in a variety of ways, including small group instruction, whole class activities, and hands-on learning experiences.
• Classroom Management:
  Create and maintain a safe, organized, and well-structured classroom environment conducive to learning, while also establishing positive behavioral expectations.

  Observe students, evaluate their abilities and progress, and communicate with parents about their child's development.
