Special Education Teacher, Resource Room - Central Middle School
Part Time 0.6
Responsibilities- Provide intensive, specialized instruction to students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in the Resource Room.
- Collaborate and consult with classroom teachers to support IEP goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing data team meetings and monitor student progress closely.
- Conduct academic evaluations for initial assessments, interpreting diagnostic results and providing oral and written evaluation and progress reports.
- MA or DESE license in Moderate Special Needs.
- Training and certification in systemic, multisensory reading instruction (e.g., Wilson Reading) – desired.
- SEI endorsement.
Salary ranges from $62,751 to $117,323 per year based on experience and qualifications. Salary schedule is available in the Stoneham Public Schools salary guide.
