The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks applicants for the position Maintenance Equipment Operator II at Stoneham Labor Yard  Winter season to perform the following duties:

General Statement of

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety Sensitive Positions require that the employee participate in the DCR Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Program Policy and be subject to a Pre-placement and Random DOT Drug and Alcohol testing.

Incumbents in this position will operate heavy power operated equipment such as street sweepers, backhoes, front-end loaders and bulldozers used in the construction, maintenance and/or repair of roadways, parkways, parks, etc.; operates heavy dump trucks, snow plows, sanders, tractor-drawn mowers, surf rakes and other equipment for beach, highway and grounds maintenance; operates light vehicles such as passenger cars and panel trucks for…
