Job Summary
The Account Executive will meet and exceed local and national sales goals by selling Clear Channel’s digital and print inventory to qualified advertisers. The role focuses on developing new business through direct customer outreach and high‑level agency contacts, while maintaining long‑term advertising relationships.
Responsibilities- Drive revenue goal attainment on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Prospect and develop new customer relationships, persuasively communicating strategies for meeting customer needs.
- Conduct outside sales activities, including obtaining orders and/or contracts for Clear Channel services, while traveling outside the office.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the customer’s account in cooperation with creative, operations, marketing, and finance staff.
- Determine project pricing based on management guidelines; negotiate fees or services with client approval from management.
- Oversee projects from start to finish and ensure client satisfaction.
- Deliver proof of performance (POP) to clients.
- Accompany clients on market tours to showcase outdoor inventory.
- Communicate and coordinate with Ad Ops and other internal departments.
- Complete other duties as assigned or requested.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum five (5) years of sales experience; demonstrated track record of business‑to‑business and progressive sales. Media sales experience preferred; knowledge of territory preferred.
- Skills:
- Ability to build and cultivate client relationships and grow accounts.
- Consultative or “needs‑based” selling techniques.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and work well under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and social media platforms.

- Sales Process Management – follow the organization’s sales methodology to achieve targets.

- Presentation – prepare and deliver presentations in formal and informal settings.
Essential functions include attendance in weekly/monthly meetings; work in both office and field environments; make sales calls, and service existing accounts. Ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds; ability to see written documents and computer screens, and adjust focus.
TravelTravel outside the office at least 50% of the time for meetings and industry events. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Compensation and BenefitsTargeted Compensation: $32,000 base salary plus commissions; bonus eligibility subject to incentive plan terms.
