Field Archeologist

Mabbett & Associates, Inc. (Mabbett®), an award-winning leader in environmental, health and safety (EH&S) consulting and engineering, is looking for a Part-Time Field Archaeologist to join their Natural Resources team. This opportunity suits an experienced field archaeologist seeking flexible, project-based assignments. The role involves working with a collaborative group conducting Phase I surveys, Phase II site testing, and overseeing environmental compliance, mostly along the Eastern Seaboard, with some projects extending into the Central United States.

Travel is a necessity, as work takes place on field sites—including undeveloped land and construction zones—and occurs year-round outdoors, sometimes in harsh weather. The selected candidate will be a part-time, on call resource mobilized in advance for projects typically lasting between one and four weeks.
