Our dedicated refrigeration team is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining commercial equipment, including, but not limited to walk-in freezers, walk in refrigerators, chillers, reach in, and more.
Responsibilities:- Maintains HVAC/R equipment including walk-in freezers, walk in refrigerators, chillers, reach in, and more
- Performs HVAC/R service repairs, quotes, installs, and maintenance for assigned customer locations
- Participates in on call rotation
- Documents and submits information from customer location in internal software
- Schedules service, maintenance, and quoted work in internal software
- Obtains parts pricing, and builds quotes
- Maintains good working order of company vehicle
- Complies with company and industry safety standards
- Accountable – You take ownership of your actions
- Proactive – You can remain focused when experiencing many simultaneous customer and associate inquiries while preventing potential problems from arising
- Strong hands-on experience with:
Walk-in coolers/freezers (medium & low temp systems) Rack systems and multiplex refrigeration Ice machines (Hoshizaki, Manitowoc, Scotsman) RTUs and split systems tied into refrigeration loads Proven ability to work with: R404A, R448A, R449A, R134a, R410A systems TXV/EEV diagnostics and replacement
- 7–10+ years in commercial refrigeration / HVAC-R service
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Walk-in coolers/freezers (medium & low temp systems)
- Rack systems and multiplex refrigeration
- Ice machines (Hoshizaki, Manitowoc, Scotsman)
- RTUs and split systems tied into refrigeration loads
- Proven ability to work with: R404A, R448A, R449A, R134a, R410A systems TXV/EEV diagnostics and replacement
$40 - $60 an hour We pay top dollar for experienced Techs with a MA Refrigeration License!
