Maintenance Technician

We're recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join an innovative manufacturing business operating within a specialist process environment. This is a hands‑on role supporting the reliability and performance of site equipment through planned and reactive maintenance. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you'll help minimise downtime and improve equipment performance.

• Carrying out maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repairs and installation work on process plant equipment including pumps, vessels, agitators and similar machinery.
• Supporting preventative maintenance activities and continuous improvement across the site.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records through CMMS/PMS systems.
• Supporting equipment upgrades, installations and contractor activities when required.

• Experience maintaining industrial process plant or manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical maintenance and fault‑finding skills.
• Experience working with rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, agitators or similar.
• A recognised engineering qualification/apprenticeship or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• A proactive approach with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work safely and independently.

• This role will initially operate on a continuous backshift pattern (2pm–10pm), moving to a days and back shift pattern as the site continues to grow.
• Salary starting from £40,000 depending on experience.
