Job Responsibilities- Create PLC programs using ladder editor, function block diagrams, flow charts, etc. for web converting equipment and associated functions
- Design and develop HMI applications
- Design and review PLC network architecture
- AC/DC drives configuration
- Integration of Legacy drives, controls and equipment
- Support the creation of technical product documentation and information
- In-house testing of software and systems
- Provide on-site assistance during system start-up and commissioning
- Remote and on-site customer support
- Assist Sales with pre-study analysis and reports
- Interact with customers as required
- Work closely with team members to complete projects and assignments
- Other responsibilities assigned by manager
- Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, EHS&S programs
- BSEE or MSEE with Controls background
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering
- Knowledge of AC/DC drive systems, PCs, Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC
- Previous experience with Auto Cad, PLCs, AC and DC Drive systems and Supervisory control systems
- Strong understanding of industrial controls networks
- Web handling and converting equipment experience is preferred, but not a requirement
- Problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required
- Strong technical aptitude and good analytical skills; organized and detail oriented
- 30% travel is required; this includes North-America and international travel
- Experience with the following computer related skills:
- Windows, Word, Excel
- Industrial programming software such as:
- Ladder Logic
- Control Block Diagramming
- HMI configuration software
- Drives interface/programming software
